Burks Oakley II

I am an Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Illinois, where I am the Director of the University of Illinois Online initiative.  I also have appointments as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and in the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Illinois at Springfield.

My professional interests center on online education.  I give a number of presentations about this topic each year at national conferences.  My personal interests include golf, scuba diving, and my family.
