Real-Time Meeting 05.02.2000

As was decided last week during the chat, the live meeting will not take place this Thursday May 4, instead it will take place on Tuesday May 2 normal time (from 6 to 7 pm).

Real-Time Meeting 03.23.2000

Due to my participation in a leadership training 'Engaged Universities: Moving Beyond the Vision' in Chicago this week there will be no real-time chat on Thursday March 23. Hence, please respond in more detail to discussion questions for classes 6 and 7.

Real-Time Meeting 02.17.2000

This Thursday Feb. 17 Professor Boltuc gives a lecture entitled Moral Neighborhoods at a professional meeting in Jacksonville. Therefore, the real time meeting for this date will be cancelled. Instead, students are encouraged to read the material for classes 1-4 very carefully in preparation to the exam. Examination will take place on Thursday March 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. (participation at this time is required of all students). The class will meet for discussion on Thursday Feb. 24th at regular hours. Those interested in Professor Boltuc's lectue may read it at:

Accessing Real-Time Meetings

Click the link on the left "Real-Time Meetings" to access the real-time meetings. The link will take you to a WebBoard, but a different one from the one we use for discussions. The first time you go there, please click the button "New Users" and create a user profiel for yourself. Then login and click "CHAT" at the top of the page. A list of available chat rooms will appear on the right side of the page. There will only be one available - "housekeeping". Click on it, and join the chat!

WebBoard help and logins

Students who already had WebBoard logins need to use them for this class. There are already discussion questions on the WebBoard, and every student is expected to participate. If you do not have your WebBoard logon and password contact Will Vautrain wvaut1@uis.edu.
