    ~engaging the student, interaction, responsiveness~
  • Quality Matters Rubric
  • The UIS approach to Peer Mentoring
  • How to evaluate the mentor (perhaps both mid-term formative and summative from both faculty member and students)
  • Importance of precisely stating expectations for mentors
  • Issues of confidentiality
  • Role of department head or dean
  • Evaluating a program - did student satisfaction increase? Did grades improve? Etc.
