Podcasting
in PAC 442 Section B
You can easily create your
own podcasts for free! Just follow the step-by-step process outlined
below.

Create a blog at Blogger.com
[You will have to select a username and password for your free account,
and also a name for your blog.]

Indicate that you want to publish
your blog at Blogspot.com - this is the default setting for Blogger.com.

Create an account at Audioblogger.com
- Indicate that you want to publish your podcasts on the blog you created
at Blogger.com [You will have to enter your telephone number, select a
PIN, and enter the login information for your blog at Blogger.com.]

Follow the instructions at Audioblogger.com
to record your audio and publish it on your blog. Dial their phone
number (415-856-0205) - note that this is a toll call, so you might want
to place this call using a cell phone with free long-distance calls.
Enter your Audioblogger.com account information (telephone number and PIN).
Record your audio after the beep (you can record for up to 5 minutes).
End your recording by pressing the # key. Press 1 to post your audio
to your blog - the audio will be posted in mp3 format.

Go to your published blog on
Blogspot.com. Right-click on the "Play this audio post" button
and select "Copy Link Location" to copy the URL of the mp3 file with your
audio recording. Send this URL to Burks in an e-mail note, and he
will publish this link on our course blog at:
http://pac442b.blogspot.com/
