For this extra credit assignment, you are asked to create a podcast (3-5 minutes) summarizing your first paper.  I think that your paper will likely be improved if you spend the time talking out loud about what you are covering and how you are organizing the content (assuming that you go back and edit the paper after discussing it in a podcast).  I'll look for the following in your podcast:

• A definite introduction and conclusion to your spoken summary.
• Ideas that are well organized, clearly communicated, and connect tightly to a central thesis.
• A good discussion of how your paper is organized, and how the Internet has impacted your life.

NOTE:  For this assignment, you must post your audio recording directly to our class blog.  In order to do this, you will have to be added to the "team" that has privileges to post to this blog.  Please send me an e-mail note from your UIS account, asking to be added to the team.

Recall that you can create a free audio recording (up to 5 minutes in duration) at Audioblogger.com --- and a link to the mp3 file with your audio recording will be automatically posted to our class blog.  Of course, you can use your PC to record an audio file directly, if you have a microphone and the technical "know-how" to do this.  In this case, you would have to create a new posting on our team blog, with a link to the mp3 file.  Additional instructions about how to do this are in a handout at:

Since this extra credit assignment deals with your first paper, it must be submitted by noon central time on 24 March 2006 in order to receive the maximum credit.
