Hi everyone! UIS has a week of spring break starting on Monday, March 13th, and we won't have any assignments due for the entire week. I doubt that too many of you will actually be going anyplace on vacation - so this forum is for you to tell us all about your virtual trip - don't worry about the cost - you will be spending virtual money!!

Please do all your vacation planning online - find a resort, make your travel plans, find some interesting things to do and some interesting places to dine. And let us know about everything in a posting in this forum (worth up to 2 extra credit points) or in a 3-5 minute podcast posted to the class blog (worth up to 4 extra credit points). [An extra credit point is equivalent to a point on the weekly homework assignments.]

Of course, this is completely optional - I'm just providing this forum for anyone who is stuck in Illinois (or some other cold location) and is dreaming about vacationing in Florida or Mexico or on a Caribbean island. And if you really are going on a spring break trip, use this assignment to tell us how you used the Internet in planning your trip, and make us all green with envy.
