Podcasting in PAC 442 Section D

The course instructor will be producing a new podcast for the course on a weekly basis.  You are encouraged to listen to these podcasts.  Note that transcripts of each podcast will be available on the course blog, so you can read the text instead of listening to the audio.

There are several reasons for these podcasts:

Simple way to listen to the podcasts:
You do not need to have an iPod to listen to the podcasts.  Simply go to the course blog at:

http://pac442d.blogspot.com/

and download the mp3 files directly to your computer.  Then play the mp3 files with any appropriate (free) software, such as the Windows Media Player or WinAmp.

Recommended way to listen to the podcasts:
Download the free iTunes software from http://www.apple.com/itunes/ and install it on your computer.  Subscribe to the RSS feed for the PAC 442 section D podcast.  This feed is at:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/pac442d

Copy the above URL.  Open iTunes.  Select "Subscribe to Podcast..." from the "Advanced" menu. Paste the URL into the "URL" box and click "OK".  Then whenever you run iTunes, new podcasts will be downloaded to your computer automatically, as they become available.

Mobile learning:
If you have an iPod or another type of portable mp3 player, you can download the podcasts from your computer to your mp3 player, and listen to them anywhere.
