The online evaluation form was available for students during the final two weeks of the semester, when it was linked to several announcements and messages within the Blackboard course management system. Evaluations were submitted anonymously by 13 students (out of 19) in the course.

Burks was so quick to respond to any question I had and there was no such thing as a wrong or bad question to him. He was the best teacher that I have had in a long time.

He is a great instructor and I wish he would teach more classes such as a beginning HTML class. He made the class very interesting and was more than willing to help us if we had problems. I have been out of school a long time and he was more than willing to help me with the proper way to do my references for my research paper. He took time to explain the proper way to list them and answered all my questions. He is an excellent professor. Very interesting and shared a lot of his own interests and family with us.

Learning new benefits of the Internet.

I loved having a caring instructor that was open to respond to his students. You do not always find that with online courses. He was very thorough in his responses and I understood what I was to do. I loved the information introduced in the course.

I learned a lot of useful practical information in this class. I also learned that I enjoy online classes, as this was my first.

It was interesting and I learned a lot. I liked the feedback that Burks provided and the quick responses. The Web Treasure Hunt was a fun and learning experience too. I liked everything about this class.

The teacher. Burks really made this course more than I every expected of it.

The informational questions and the group project.

The teacher, he really made me feel as if I was talking to him, like he cared about my progress, and that he was interested in all of the students’ lives.

Burks was great and really cared about all the students. He was on the computer everyday responding to the students. He is a very dedicated professor and so busy with all of his travels, but always made time for his class.

I don't know anything that I liked least.

It was kind of easy to put things off during different times of the year. For example, when my midterms and finals were keeping me busy, it was easy to put this class on the backburner. In a way that was good, but I also hated to do that.

I honestly feel that the class should be 4 hrs credit rather than 2 hours. I spent a lot of time in the class. Enjoyed it though.

I work full-time and have a family and live 30 miles from Springfield. I am an online student and that is the only way I could possibly go back to college. It was a great online class.

I thought it would be neat to take it online, though. Plus, it gives a lot of other people a chance to take the course if they are unable to take them at school.
