Enabling Cookies

Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy tab
  2. Your Privacy level should be Medium or Low to allow cookies.
  3. To allow cookies from a specific site (http://bb.uis.edu), click on the Sites button.
  4. Click OK

Firefox

  1. Go to Tools > Options > Privacy tab
  2. In the Firefox will dropdown list, choose either to
    • Remember history: Accept all cookies

      OR

    • Use Cutom settings for history: Select your own settings.
    • Check Accept cookies from sites box.
  3. Click OK

Safari

  1. Go to Action menu > Preferences > Security tab
  2. Choose either to always accept cookies or only accept cookies from sites you visit:
    • Always: To always accept cookies, to the right of Accept Cookies.
    • Only from Sites I Visit: To only accept cookies from sites you visit, to the right of Accept Cookies.
  3. Close the Security window

Enabling JavaScript

Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Internet zone
  2. Click Custom Level button > Scroll down to Scripting section
  3. Under Active Scripting, Click Enable
  4. Click OK to return to the Internet Options window
  5. Click OK to exit

Firefox

  1. Go to Tools > Options > Content panel
  2. Check the box for Enable Javascript
  3. Click OK

Safari

  1. Go to Action menu > Preferences > Security panel
  2. Check the box for Enable Javascript
  3. Close the Security window
